Comrades! Here is small Community Discord Server Update. We now have a Verification Module located at the Top of the Discord. This module is built to serve as a inactivity gate and allow a extra layer of security for the active Discord users. This may be little early to reimplement into the Discord Server, but it is for the sake of future-proofing the server. Public Discords after awhile will have large number of invite links potentially distributed anywhere on the Internet and this can attract large number of unknown users. This Verification Module will help deter any raiders and help aid in blocking spam users.
After completing Discord Onboarding you must Verify yourself by reacting with the {:white_check_mark:} below. The {:white_check_mark:} checkmark reaction applies a discord role that will allow you access to the Comrade's Gate Discord Server. If you do not have the 'checkmark role' you will not be able to have full access to the server and channels. Comrade's Gate Discord Community advocates for Discord users to engage in conversations in the Main Voice Channels, take part in discussions in Text Channels, and React with Emojis to chats, and attend scheduled Discord Events. Discord users with zero or low activity levels in the community may lose the verification checkmark and the {:no_entry_sign:} 'no access role' may be applied. With the {:no_entry_sign:} 'no access role' you will be locked out of the main portion of the Discord until you are verified again. You may regain access by going to the Verification Module and reacting to the green checkmark emoji and this will apply the 'checkmark role' for full access to the server and it will remove the 'no access role'. If you are reverifying multiple times due to zero or low activity levels you may be requested to verify yourself further via Voice Chat to gain the 'checkmark role' again.
